Feed the cows on Govardhan Puja
On Govardhan Puja, Shri Krishna is remembered for lifting the hill to shelter Vraj, its people and its cows. Families offer Annakut and feed cattle in thanks. Dhyan Foundation's gaushalas care for rescued cows through the year. On this day you can feed them from wherever you are.

Why seva at Diwali
Carry the light into the way you live
Ashwini Guruji describes the light of Diwali as gyan, the knowledge of what is real. What we own does not stay with us, and Diwali is a good time to loosen our hold on it.
He points to the tree and the sun, which give without asking for anything back, and asks us to care in the same way for animals, the hungry and the sick.
In our age, caring for a hungry or injured being is our dharma.
