Photos, thousands of them—clicked with mobile phones, by regular people like you and me, yet baffling manifestations of energies, of devas and devis, of entities from dark dimensions, of souls who no longer have a body, manifesting clearly and irrefutably. Yes, such is the power of mantras and mantra siddhi when done in the right way i.e. under the sanidhya of a Guru, as told by Him/Her; without selfish gains in mind.
Also, making sure that the offerings are pure, then be it the samagri, the ghrit (ghee from happy desi cows), the uplas (from desi cow govar), the samidha (mango wood) or be it your bhaav and ucchharan. Once these prerequisites are met and IF you have a Guru, dimensions open for you to interact with. This article, even if very briefly, will try to introduce you to the subject of mantra siddhi and manifestations that come in their wake, to fan curiosity and to try and dispel disbelief.
A mantra is nothing but codified form of energy. Energy that will, if invoked in the right way, manifest in the havan agni. The manifestations themselves can vary, depending on the sankalp, the mantra itself and the occasion.
Meaning? A havan can be done for various purposes, most commonly for Hari karya and Creation. It can also be done for purification, evil-eye removal, for your pitris (ancestors, during Shraadh) or even to cleanse yourself (especially on birthdays and during shravan month).
When done on special occasions such as Maha Shivratri, Guru Poornima, Holi, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi or Hanuman Jayanti, they are done to seek and invoke the blessings of the respective deity/energy. The mantras and manifestations on these days are profound and clearly of the corresponding energy.
When done during Shraadh, the manifestations more often than not, are of the departed souls (our ancestors) that can visit us during these times, as the portals open. The form or swaroop of their visitation is not exactly how we remember them as, but in fact the form that they are presently in (as per their karma). This can get very scary for a beginner, even shocking, as I have too, on many an occasion, seen these terrifying faces/entities if they are in lower dimensions.
Agni hence, acts like an inter-dimensional doorway. As to which dimension the door opens to depends on the mantra, your proficiency (ucchharan) and of course the Guru. The Guru is the common universal conduit for a sadhak to interact with any energy, lower or higher.
Remember, Guru is always immersed in a cause for Creation and exudes the energy He talks about. He walks his talk and possesses Vak Shakti (whatever He speaks, happens). Mantras are Siddh by him and then given to the shishyas.
A word of caution here, being your own Guru or trying to do this on your own can have disastrous effects and may cause irreversible damage, if at all. The higher dimensions/beings will elude you, but the lower ones just might take cognisance. Hence, a word of caution, both for the adepts and the uninitiated, while the subject is replete with experiences on an inter-dimensional scale far beyond your comprehension, it is not to be taken lightly, because energy does not have a bias towards the negative or the positive.
Shakti does not prejudice between who seeks or how, if the entitlement is there, it simply flows. The slightest dilution in thought can have far-reaching consequences. So, whenever you wish to access these dimensions and open these portals, it must be done with the permission and in the sanidhya of a true Guru.
