Dhyan Foundation
Dhyan Foundation is a spiritual fellowship that shares the gyan of the authentic path of Yog

In an endeavor to share and spread the gyan of the original and pristine form of yoga, in 2002 students of Yogi Ashwini formed Dhyan Foundation as a spiritual and charitable organisation. The Foundation is steered by the principles of gyan, guru-shishya-parampara (mentor-disciple-tradition) prakriti, santulan and shanti. Foundation today has spread its wings across India and abroad, establishing centres in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Kolkatta, Bhopal, Mumbai, Dehradun, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, USA, UK, Germany and Singapore. Yogiji himself guides and directs each individual on a one-to-one basis because yoga according to him is personal, it cannot be taught in masses.

Dhyan Foundation is a spiritual fellowship with members comprising of people from all walks of life. We have amongst us CEOs of MNCs, business magnates, politicians, artists, journalists, homemakers, and students – all of whom are living and sharing the authentic spiritual path. They transcend barriers of age, caste, sex and status, and unanimously offer their services. Indeed, in the words of Yogi Ashwini – “A Yogi is not bound by age, diet or rituals, yoga sets you free.”

Following Yogiji’s philosophy, the Foundation does not charge a fee for any of it’s courses, yet it successfully runs a large number of activities for the needy. This is ample proof that if you are on the right path and practice the principles, whatever you do success will be yours.

In order to propagate the true form of yoga the Foundation has published 3 books by Yogi Ashwini, with another in the pipeline. It brings out a monthly newspaper to create awareness of ancient sciences called ‘The Inner World’.

To further the cause of yoga, free workshops and classes are conducted for corporates, educational institutions, hospitals, etc. Participation in seminars, exhibitions and giving yoga demonstrations is also a method by which we educate the masses and remove myths related to yoga.
To secure the future of our society, volunteers from the Foundation take out time to teach students in schools and colleges. Regular classes at Delhi Public School, Sanskriti School, Apeejay School and others ensures that the children become familiar with the basic principles of yoga and are able to deal successfully with increase study and peer pressures.

Children who are less fortunate find encouragement and support at the Anand Vidayalyas run by our volunteers where they are given free education and food in addition to study aids and uniforms. Visually impaired girls are also given vocational support and sponsorship for higher studies.
