Who we are
Dhyan Foundation is a volunteer-run, non-commercial organisation supporting rescued gauvansh across India in coordination with local Police and BSF units
Why Tripura
Tripura borders Bangladesh on three sides. Illegal trespassers exploit porous stretches, targeting villagers and stealing their cattle. With Dhyan Foundation’s entry, smuggling has reduced significantly, and rescued animals now live safely at Muhuripur and Debipur

Why urgent
When the rescues began, many arrived weak, injured, terrified. Volunteers worked through storms and acute fodder shortages, hauling silage from Punjab and Haryana to keep them fed
Tripura borders Bangladesh on three sides; cattle theft and smuggling were rampant. Since Dhyan Foundation stepped in with Police & BSF support, rescues rose and smuggling dropped—but storms, fodder costs and winter needs strain our stock.
We faced attacks on our shelters and malicious rumours, yet we did not stop because when you look into their eyes, turning away is impossible.
Today, 1,200 souls eat, heal and sleep safely at Tripura
