Lockdown, The Dhyan Foundation Way

Dhyan Foundation intensifies feeding the homeless and strays as India Locks Down.

Dhyan Foundation volunteers take to the streets to feed thousands of hungry strays - dogs, cows, birds, monkeys, pigs, langurs and more as well as people who depended on leftovers and daily wages for their daily meal. We are distributing food / fodder at more than 500+ spots pan India even amidst lockdown. This is in addition to over 35,000 rescued animals that we take care of at our shelters and the hundreds of langars we have been conducting daily over the years. We are also continuing our Animal Helpline and Ambulance services in various cities.

Bihar

Feeding more than 1000 monkeys and 100 dogs daily besides the animals at our Bodhgaya, Bhiwandi, Devkund, Sanauli, Kishanganj and Darbhanga Shelters

Delhi

Catering to daily food requirements of over 3000 dogs, 500 cattle, 1000 monkeys, 5000 birds and 1000 plus people over. Also running 24 hour animal ambulance services.

Odisha

Feeding more than 450 strays and 500 monkeys daily besides the animals at our Bhubaneshwar (250) and Maitapur shelters (200). Also running 24 hour animal ambulance services in Bhubaneshwar.

Catering to daily food requirements of more than 300 strays besides those at our Lalru, Macchiwara and Fatehgarh Sahib shelter.

Catering to food requirements of more than 450 strays and 1000 people and treating over 100 abused horses over and above the animals at our Habra, Asansol and Malda shelters
