Journey of the Spirit...

Anand Vidyalaya

Anand Vidyalaya is an educational initiative of the Dhyan Foundation run under the aegis of Dhyan Yog Society. A unique initiative to educate underprivileged children who have immense potential but not enough opportunities, Anand Vidyalaya not only equips them for a brighter future, but also takes care of the short-term requirements like food and clothes.

What once started as a small set-up in a basement in Gurgaon with about 15 children, today runs as a 15 school network operating across the country in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ludhiana and Hyderabad. Anand Vidyalaya has educated more than 1000 students in the past 3 years of operation, successfully enrolling many into full-time, mainstream schools. Our volunteers also hold regular classes at National Association for the Blind, Delhi and MNJ Hospital, Hyderabad for children suffering from Cancer.

Our entire structure is based on undying dedication and persistent efforts of our volunteers. Our volunteers come from different walks of life to offer their time, resources and passion for the cause. We cater to all children irrespective of age, caste or creed. Our students are a mix of Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Backward classes and belong to all castes as we do not differentiate on these basis and look at them as potential leaders. It is our endeavor to turn these children into responsible Indians to contribute towards forming a caste-less, united India

We welcome you to be part of this process full of fun, fervor and most importantly learning of more than just text book curriculum.
