Yogi Ashwini

“Creation emerged from stillness. The ultimate purpose of Yoga is to gather that stillness inside because stillness is the ultimate strength; in fact, it holds the complete Creation in it,” says Yogi Ashwini, the Guiding Light of Dhyan Foundation.

Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Laya Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Swara Yoga, Nada Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Kripalu Yoga, Integral Yoga, Ghatastha-Yoga, Abhava-Yoga, Adhyatma-Yoga, Agni-Yoga, Asparsha-Yoga, Guru-Yoga, Buddhi-Yoga, Viniyoga Yoga, Swaroopa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Partner Yoga, Ananda Yoga, Power Yoga, etc. are all derived from this fountain of yoga.

Yogi Ashwini, who is an authority on Yoga, Tantra and various Spiritual Sciences, is a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern: He has an Honours degree in Economics, a Master’s in Management, speaks many languages fluently and is widely travelled.

Starting off as a Pranic Healing teacher, Yogi Ashwini went on to delve deep into the Indian spiritual sciences. He has been associated with various Himalayan Masters and spent a great deal of time in silence and doing His practices.

Having studied 'the being' for more than a decade, Yogi Ashwini has assimilated the Vedic techniques to formulate Sanatan Kriya for the modern man. The Kriya encapsulates all the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga as laid down by sage Patanjali 4000 years ago. He practices and propagates Yoga without any dilution, innovation or modification, and strictly as per the Vedic guidelines.

For Yogi Ashwini, yoga is not business, but sadhna (devotion). “Yoga, adulterated or modified to suit material requirements”, says Yogi Ashwini, “is not yoga.” It is with this purity of thought that He formulated Sanatan Kriya. He also emphasizes that yoga is a subject of experience, not intellect. Neither is yoga about twisting and turning the body into strange postures or rapid breathing and movement.

He advocates the yoga prescribed by Sage Patanjali, the fountainhead of yoga and the author of the Yoga Sutras, who explained asana as “sukham sthiram asana”, meaning, an asana is a posture in which you can sit still, steady and comfortable for long.

Every individual, says Yogi Ashwini, is unique. Therefore, every practitioner is prescribed practices to suit individual needs and make-up.
A strict adherent of the guru-shishya parampara, Yogi Ashwini interacts with His numerous students worldwide one-on-one.

By His Grace, the students have graduated from reading and hearing about miracles to experiencing them. He has enhanced the capacity of his students to a level where they are specialising in various practices such as Clairvoyance, Ayurveda and Spiritual Healing, among other things.
Having dispelled many popular myths about yoga and having changed the lives of countless people from all walks of life, Yogi Ashwini is on a mission: to make people experience the original power and glory of yoga in accordance with the guru-shishya parampara.Nothing speaks more eloquently about His mission than the fact that Yogi Ashwini has sanitised yoga of commerce.

In this day and age, when yoga has been completely commercialised, it takes a phenomenon called Yogi Ashwini to break the trend. Yoga, our precious civilizational heritage, indeed, has a pristine guardian in Yogi Ashwini.
