Bengaluru Chapter
Yogiji's Bengaluru visits
are always awaited with much elation and enthusiasm. The four days of his stay here were power-packed and brimming with energy.
The first day began with the setting up of the set for the shoot of a series of Yoga programme for the leading South based TV Channel, NEWS 9. After the rains stopped playing cat and mouse, we finally did manage to cap a couple of episodes on the first day. The shooting continued non-stop for the next three days, interspersed with liberal doses of fun and banter.
With each episode shot, it was amazing to see the humongous storehouse of knowledge possessed by Yogiji. We canned around ten hours of priceless Gyan, which in itself is an Encyclopedia of Vedic wisdom. What we experienced and imbibed was nothing short of a blessing. We were gifted with the treasures of the Vedic Rishis and a treasure each one of us cherished.
The nights gave way to ‘through the night’ sessions with Yogiji where we not only did dhyan in his Divine presence but were also taught various Yogic techniques to further our respective individual spiritual journeys.
Last but not the least were the plethora of ghost stories shared by Yogiji. It surely kept us in ‘high spirits’. While we continue to get goosebumps revisiting them, we are still enraptured by Yogiji's mesmerising presence in Bengaluru.

On the auspicious day of Guru Poornima, Dhyan Foundation Bengaluru volunteers did what is closest to our Guru - charity. A lot of work went into sourcing, collecting, transporting, coordinating and distributing food. It included the involvement of volunteers from all the three centres in Bengaluru who left no stone unturned to ensure that the entire process was efficiently executed.
After the regular Dhyan on Sunday, the volunteers gathered and met at the NGV slums to distribute food to thousands of slum dwellers. Children ran up to form a queue to collect their food packets, which they have now gotten accustomed to receiving every month. Adults followed suit.
All this of course, was made possible by the grace and hand of Yogiji guiding us at every step.

Mumbai Chapter
Dhyan Foundation Mumbai - The beginning of a new era
In February, 2011, Mumbai played gracious host to The Living Master Yogi Ashwini. Looking back, it was a visit that will define the course of modern medical science in the times to come. A visit that changed the perception of the medical fraternity about Yog and a Yogi.
The book-reading session at Oxford Bookstore saw eminent names like Ms. Jagpreet Luthra (Editor, Loksabha TV), Rear Admiral Pratap Singh Byce, Mrs. Karni Singh (wife of leading neurosurgeon Dr. Karni Singh), Mrs. Sumeet Johar (wife of Mr. Gurjeet Johar, Chairman C & C Constrcutions Ltd.) read out excerpts from the global best-seller by the Living Master- ‘Sanatan Kriya- 51 Miracles and a haunting.’ Also present on the occasion were Ms. Sabina Khurana (of the Zambon group), Mr. Nitesh Vijayvargiya (leading investment banker from Hyderabad) amongst others.
The local media after hearing excerpts from the book, were very curious as to the nature of such phenomena generally labelled as ‘miracles’. What baffled them even more was the fact that doctors were corroborating to the nature of events of their patients and given it in writing. Yet they wanted to experience and witness the power of this science, and witness they did, 2 days later at the Indian Medical Association. Click here to witness for yourself the Dhyan Foundation miracles at the Indian Medical Association.
Not too far behind the premier body, the Malad Medical Association also played gracious host to Yogi Ashwini, and doctors thronged in great numbers to hear the Living Master unravel the mysteries of the being. They also witnessed an Asana demonstration (the way asanas ought to be Sukham Sthiram Asanam) and were left baffled at the balance, calmness and control possessed by students of Yogiji. They were in awe as to how a 60-year-old woman is able to hold an asan for as long as she wished without as much as twitching a muscle. The answer to this is simple, for as Yogiji says, "You are only as young as straight your back is."

A talk on Yog & Sanatan Kriya on Ram Navmi
Date : 12th April, 2011.
Venue: Bharati Vidya Peeth, CBD Belapur, Mumbai
The talk on the above subject at Bharati Vidya Peeth was well attended by 300+ students (of class 8, 9 & 10) and the faculty of the school. As the audience comprised mainly of young minds it was necessary to familiarize with values derived from Indian culture. To prepare the youth to face the challenges in their future life, they were exposed to the timeless principles of Yog and Sanatan Kriya, as propounded by the ancient Rishis of India, practiced and propagated without any dilutions or modifications by Dhyan Foundation.
The pressing need to take care of the environment and nature were addressed, as it is the kids who will carry the beacon forward.
Subsequently, a joint sapling planting exercise was undertaken along with the students. The saplings were planted in the school compound and the neighbourhood.
At the same time, the need to provide for fellow creatures in nature was also highlighted. This was accompanied by the placing of water bowls at strategic locations around the school and other public places.
On the whole, it was an interesting morning spent with the young who will be responsible for the future.
-
Langars: In addition to the regular food distribution, special Langars were organised for the needy at several locations on the occasion of Yogiji's birthday. SPARK Street Children Shelter, Dadar, Outside Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Station (Victoria Terminus), Chembur Children's Home, (Sion Trombay Road).

Ludhiana Chapter
Yogi Ashwini’s recent visit to Punjab marks the coming of age of Dhyan Foundation Ludhiana. Read the full story of Yogiji’s trip here
For the past couple of years, Dhyan Foundation Ludhiana has been holding weekly Sanatan Kriya
sessions at Lions Bhavan on Sundays. Also weekly langars
are a regular feature at various locations across the city. During winters, blanket distribution drives are undertaken and blankets distributed to the homeless and needy.
Some more great news- Ludhiana branch of Anand Vidyalaya
is now up and running, where kids from humble backgrounds are given the means and resources to study, learn and grow. Anand Vidyalayas are indeed a unique initiative for not only do they provide education, nourishment and confidence but also the means for these bright kids to enter the mainstream society.
fad
too has kickstarted in Ludhiana and how! Street dogs are fed daily at 12 different locations in three localities namely Civil Lines, Tagore Nagar and Udham Singh Nagar. A routine monthly checkup of the canines is also undertaken by the local vets and medical aid provided to the sick animals.
You too can make a difference. For more information on Dhyan Foundation activities in Ludhiana and to become a part, write into us at info@dhyanfoundation.com
